The Wending is a Baltic Sea barge (tjalk) and built in 1907. Since 2002, Jodi and Craig are the owners of the Wending. During the winter 2011/12 the whole interieur was improved by using among others sustainable bamboo wood. From the crew's experience, this robust sailing ship is perfectly suitable for children or people with a disability because of the dense bulwarks, the ship's broad gangways and foredeck, and her spacious on-deck lounge. Below decks you find a spacious interior and you can stand upright in the entire ship. The saloon has plenty of places to sit for its guest. The galley is well equipped and has an oven, six burners, and two fridges with a freeze. The Wending is also the perfect place to make a culinary trip. Both Jodi and Craig are skipper and crew of the Wending. They will work hard to organise an unforgettable trip for you. Before we sail out together, all guests get professional explanation about sailing. This is also the right ship to learn more about navigation, sailing theory, etc. Groups are invited to sail from port to port and from island to island. The sun, sea, and fresh air; being on board of the Wending is a unique experience for many people.
